What is WRONG with people?!

So sick of people-NO- one specific person- interfering!
For the love of Pete! Why can't some people just live their OWN lives and stay out of everyone elses? Ya know?!
Life is definately full of trials and everyone has their own. But I will NEVER understand why your own lifes ordeals cannot be enough to sustain you. Why? why ?why ?! would anyone CHOOSE to get involved where they are not a.) wanted b.)needed or c.) ASKED to be involved???
Inserting yourself into someone elses life after you've been asked and then told to stay out is a total invasion of privacy.
Only a sick, twisted, person would choose to invade someone's life and try to make it a living hell .
I say good things come to those who wait and karma comes back to those who are evil.

And the beat goes on...

I don't even know what to say anymore...

Our family has been on such a rollercoaster for the past two years.

Before we can even begin to accept a loss there's another one.

Just since October , we have lost seven to the Angels.

One more was added yesterday, August 23, 2009.

Doris Jean Honnoll ~81~ went on to be an Angel at 11:45 a.m.

It was a sudden and great loss to our family.

A crap shoot

In this thing we call life, we ALL have our own crosses to bear, skeletons in our closets
and sometimes just the weight of the world.
They say everthing happens for a reason~ If so, I'd sure as hell like some answers!
Not everyone deals with the pressures in their lives the same way.
We'd all like to 'just quit' sometimes.
That doesn't seem to be the right answer though.
I don't have the answers, but I am not a 'quitter'.
Life is what we make it?
NO.
Life is what it is...
We may choose our own paths, jobs, homes etc.
But there is no choosing or changing what life hands us.
I've often referred to the things my family has gone through as
'the hand we've been dealt'
And that we will just play that hand and hope for a better one later-
It used to make sense to me-but now....
It just feels like a crap shoot

May 2, 1942 ~ June 13, 2009
Another Angel has gained his wings; this time, being my father-in-law, Gearl Greggs.
"Pops" was well known for being quite the comedian.
He is missed and our hearts are breaking not only for his loss; but the nagging jealousy that he is now with our Angel -Elijah Call.
We miss you "Pops" and we will not forget...

A broken heart :(

They say a broken heart will mend.
Will it?
Our latest experience tells us that a broken heart can kill you(or just make you think so).
My hard working , never stopping, hard headed husband was rushed to the E.R. last week with chest pains, shortness of breath; i.e. heart attack symptoms. After two visits to the E.R., a couple of nitro tabs and a trip to the heart cath lab, it was shown that he is suffering from a broken heart. Not the kind they can fix. The kind you get when you grieve. He was told that his symptoms were very real and that a grieving person has added stress to their life and that CAN cause an actual heart attack.
IMAGINE THAT!
They told him to try and relax and to lower the stress factors in his life. HA!
How exactly do you propose he stop grieving?
Men especially, are guilty of holding things in or explosively letting them go.
Grief cannot be controlled.
Just remember the next time someone tells you you can't die from a broken heart-they're wrong!

Losing The Mississippi Kid

Just over 2 weeks since the Mississippi Kid festival and the world has lost another shining star,
May 6, 2009 Ean Evans passed away. He was just 48 years old.
Leaving behind a wife, 2 daughters a son-in-law and a beautiful granddaughter.
Lynyrd Skynyrd will not be the same.
The band has suffered many losses over the years , but this has been a shock to all.
Ean helped found the band Evans Capps and has been involved in personally or helped to promote many others. He was always looking to help someone else.
On the night of the Mississippi Kid festival He and Capps signed a new record contract in the camper where Ean was waiting his turn on stage.
Before the night was over, as sick as he was, he played. He played with members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bo Bice, Capps, and a few others. Ean's loving spirit was thrown out into the crowd. It was electrifying!
The new EvansCapps c.d was released yesterday. What a victory for Ean!
These sites feature some of the brightest moments and some of the saddest, but both tell a beautiful story of a very kind soul.
This FAMILY -never mind he was famous- needs your prayers.
