Spring Break 2009

Spring Break 2009 at Panama City Beach was beautiful!
The sand and surf and weather were just right. St.Patrick's day there proved to be more than interesting! The teens are always good for a bunch of laughs. As we were leaving Ripley's museum Tuesday night, two boys in speedos came walking or should I say dancing, jumping and sashaying down the sidewalk... they were hilarious, not hurting anyone, just being silly. They got our attention! I hope they faired well the rest of the week.

On the other hand, teens and young adults are pretty reckless.
P-A-R-T-Y
seems to be the only word in their lives.
On march 18,2009 a 21 year old boy was found face down in the grass by a fancy hotel near the county pier as we were arriving for the day on the beach. It was traggic. It appears he drank himself to death. However, it did not lower the partying moods of the other spring breakers- they continued to party as if they were invincible!
Look people- just because you leave home, don't leave your brains behind.
Get a grip, know when to stop and NEVER party alone. Being young is great and it won't last forever, I understand wanting to live it up, but please do it with some common sense!
Parents: KNOW where your kids are. You DON'T want that phone call... who would the responsibility fall on?
Think about it.

Some say that's just life...I say no, just something like it.
